Boy Day!
April 9th, 2009Explanation: A month ago Blake asked when “boy day” was. I asked him to explain and he said, “you know…like when you or dad get breakfast in bed.” I asked, “Do you mean Mother’s Day and Father’s Day?” and he said yes. He wanted a day for boys.
We decided to have “boy day” (which will change to kid’s day once we have girls as well) and I made this video to commemorate. I will post more about boy day on my blog if you are interested in what we did.
Disclaimer: Blake told me this was boring :) , so you don’t have to watch it. I enjoyed making it and am glad to have it and add to it in future years. It is 5 minutes long and I thought at least the grandparents would enjoy it.

We actually did Boy’s Day on April 8th. I’m not sure that will be the official day. We might change it in the future to not be so close to Easter.
The first song was by Marc Cohn – The Things We’ve Handed Down. It is a great song and I put it in there because I know Dan loves it especially :)
