Blake

October 28th, 2004

Katie gave birth to a healthy baby boy at 2:26pm on October 27, 2004 (the same day the Boston Red Sox won the World Series by the way). He weighed 7lbs 11oz and was 18.5 inches long. Here are some pictures.

Blake in his crib with but a diaper and a hat. The silver disc is a thermometer. He was a tad chilly so he’s under a heat lamp to be lightly toasted.

   I’m not sure how yesterday could have gotten any better!! Not only did the Red Sox win the World Series and Blake Hersam was born, but I got a 90% on my Biology mid-term!!! What more could I ask for! :) Congratulations! I look forward seeing what’s in store for my new nephew Blake!

   I cannot express how happy I am for both of you and how lucky you both and Blake are to have each other. I always have enjoyed watching Dan with children. I can only imagine how happy you two must be to have a little one of your own to cherish and enjoy.
